Our Founder’s never intended for our Government to look the way it does now. Not all, but a lot of these issues could be solved through repealing the Apportionment Act of 1929 that capped our electoral college and representation in the House of Representatives.
The average US Rep represents 600,000 people and costs $2million to run on average. Imagine a world where you could actually know your representative. This would allow more of the common people’s interests to be represented, and would help root out corruption. If we remove the limit on how many representatives and directly tied it to our population, say 1 representative for every 30,000 people, it would allow us to know our representatives more intimately and allow them to better represent us.
