Racism, sexism, and more -isms have been identified as the cause of many inequalities of outcome in the United States. Requiring every loan, mortgage, job, or college entrance application to be void of any race or sex distinction will ensure that all applications are considered solely in a merit-based manner and that only the most qualified candidate is approved/selected. After any such application is approved, job granted, or entrance given, race and sex data will be collected to gather data for national reporting purposes.
Demographic data removed from applications could also include age, gender, disability, veteran status, etc. if approved by the state where the application will be enacted.
Any application purposefully aimed toward one of the removed demographics may have the topic added back to the application if approved by the state where the application will be enacted.
