Reform CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES

The child and family PROTECTIVE services in my opinion needs a massive restructure. Aligate more funds for helping familys overcome circumstantial issues. I would also like to take a harsher look at the investigation period. First to establish fincial status, health status, mental health status. From there referal with follow up period to get established with resorces to check in on progress vs immediately removal of children due to fincial issues homless status or mental health. Then moving on to safty well being for both child and parent as a whole. We are always told oxygen mask on self to care for others. Same concept applys here. I personally feel as if so many children have been taken from good parents due to lack of resorces or help and others still have there children even when there in immediate danger the whole system in its self needs a reform. If you disagree lets remember “Peaches” and what she had done to her daughter. And lastly mental health and safty for the child /children bring back fire safty ice safty car safty as well as manditory thearpy threw an outside agent for every open case for the children and parents. Every situation is diffrent. Personally you hear more bad stories and outcomes than good lets change that. child and family protective services are supposed to be there to help and protect not destroy or ignore or essentially kidnap.
