We must reduce the price of rent. It is unsustainable for the younger generations to be paying such exorbitant amounts of money on rent. In many cases, we are paying twice as much in rent than what our parents pay for their mortgage every month. A reduction in rent prices would allow us to save up for a down-payment on our very first home, and improve our financial situation.
