correct on why he is buying up this land. These elitist are trying to control every major resource to gain control over us!
It should not be leased. It should be made available to Homestead.
Make it so they have to sell the land to US citizens for the price they bought it for. They have no right capitalizing on our land
I like this though I would say any foreign country AND to include corporate conglomerates such as Microsoft/Bill Gates, Monsanto etc., with the idea of ending factory farming that pushes out the smaller family farms.

I would disagree wholeheartedly; no foreign interests should be able to own US soil- leasing it however would be acceptable while furthering the goal of continuing as the premier business enterprise host.
Foreign countries should not be able to own resources in the U.S. to include farmland, water rights, etc…

I would like to see ownership achieved by some farmland going to existing farmers & some available for purchase for new small family farms. Depends on type of land & location. Need farmers input too as location to existing well run farms is consideration. If a local farmer SOLD land to China they must not be eligible unless paying back the price they were paid. Many issues to consider + Constitutional considerations so we don’t play favorites.
I would like to point out one of the biggest owners of farmland in America is a citizen, Bill Gates. And he isn’t planning on using it for the good of our country, just the opposite.

Anyone who purchases large amounts of land around the country previously used for agricultural reasons would not be permitted to deplete the national supply of food production by 1% with the changing of the purpose of said land with out risking fortfiture of the land. Or something along those lines so they could own 5 acres in every state but never do anything that hurts the food production.
