Recognition of Life: The Genesis Act

Introduction: Since Roe v. Wade was returned to the States, many have taken one of two sides: either a. we need a national abortion ban, or b. now they’re banning my right to healthcare. Abortion never should have been a federal issue. Technically, the issue was not abortion; rather, the right to privacy. If the Supreme Court had asked one question - when does life begin - and resolved to answer it, then abortion never would have become legal. In addition, Roe v. Wade created legislation where the issuing body did not have the Constitutional authority to do so.

Resolution: For the same reason that Roe v. Wade was returned to the States, the U.S. Congress cannot issue legislation banning abortion. It simply is not the purview of the Federal Government. However, the Federal Government can issue a proclamation that it recognizes two things: a. that the fetus is a human; and b. that human life begins at conception.

Henceforth:
Section I.a. Congress recognizes the humanity, from embryo to full gestation, of the body in utero.

Section I.b. Congress recognizes the beginning of human life to begin at conception.

Section I.c. Congress recognizes the human fetus and the mother as two separate people; both being distinct individuals.

Section II.a. Neither Congress nor any of the Federal agencies, committees, nor Administrations will enact any legislation or order regarding the justification of medical termination of a pregnancy as any such action will be in violation of Article X of the U.S. Constitution.

Section II.b. It is the intent that medical needs for the health of the mother and the human fetus are met as determined by the patient and qualified medical professionals.

Excellent! America needs to return to a biblical foundation. The Bible is not religion specific!
