Federal Law codifying Roe V. Wade

Passing a federal law to codify Roe v. Wade is essential for ensuring that the right to choose remains protected across all states, providing a stable and consistent foundation for reproductive rights. In recent years, this issue has dominated the national conversation, consuming time and resources that could be better allocated to pressing economic concerns like inflation, job creation, and infrastructure development. By codifying these protections into federal law, Congress would establish a clear, uniform standard that respects personal freedoms and prevents further legal battles that disrupt lives and fuel polarization. With reproductive rights secured, lawmakers could pivot their focus toward addressing the economic challenges that impact all Americans, fostering a more prosperous, equitable future.

Unconstitutional. This issue belongs to the states.

It belongs to the states now because the Supreme Court made it that way, but it’s not UNCONSTITUTIONAL. You can’t just throw that word around. It’s not in the constitution.

Codify some version of permissible 1st trimester abortion. TX women and CA women should have at least the same basic right to elective abortion before the heart starts beating.

You say “it’s not in the constitution”.

The 10th Amendment states: “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

Unconstitutional! This issue is reserved to the States.

The one thing that is scary about this Narrative is women are not GIVEN THE FACTS of the SIDE EFFECTS of having an abortion. I can speak for myself and THOUSANDS of other women that had abortions and regretted it. On top of taking birth control prescriptions for decades/ depo shots: Here are some side effects and FACTS. Starting with the SHOTS:
Long-term side effects of the Depo-Provera birth control shot include:

  • Bone loss: Continuous use of the shot for more than two years can lead to bone mineral density loss, which can increase the risk of osteoporosis. This risk is higher if you smoke, drink a lot, or have other risk factors for osteoporosis. To help prevent bone loss, you can exercise regularly and eat foods high in calcium, like dairy and leafy greens.
  • Liver problems: Uncommon side effects include abnormal liver function or jaundice. High doses of the shot taken over a long period of time can lead to serious liver problems that could lead to cancer or death.
  • Depression: In some women, the shot can increase the risk of depression.

POST OP Abortion- SYMPTOMS INCLUDE:
*Hormonal body shock,
*Trauma,

  • Hypothyroidism
  • Blood clots,
  • multiple post op DNC’s
  • Fibroids
  • Birth Defects
  • Complications giving future births.
  • Depression/Trauma response
  • 48% of women overdose / self mutilate / commit suicide before the age of 35. This statistic grows increasingly higher at 63% during menopausal years if physical and mental therapy goes untreated. Having abortions federally regulated has caused more genocide to only the unborn babies, but the post-abortion woman physically and mentally dies too. No- One- Wins as they get “temporary” freedom until the mother later in life realized that they put a band-aid on a bullet wound that will never heal. It is far healthier to carry full term and opt for an open /closed adoption as the female body heals and regulates their hormones naturally than to shock and traumatize the body.

Given the current GOP trifecta, this bill will not pass.

BTW, I have suggested a policy package that addresses the top concerns about abortion and pro-life laws, granting exceptions and concessions to protect women and unborn children from the extremes. Would you please consider it?

FYI - the very first paragraph summarizes the whole idea, and the actual content of my proposal comes after a few disclaimer paragraphs/my MAHA letter.

RIGHT TO MATERNAL/FETAL HEALTHCARE & EDUCATION to stabilize the abortion issue
