Prescription Abuse/Widespread Malpractice in The Medical Field

Our nation has become a massive drug cartel, and the culprit are doctors with pens - even worse are the predators in our mental healthcare system.

Everyday, people are misdiagnosed and told to take a pill to solve their problems - when that pill doesn’t work, they are re diagnosed and told to take another pill, usually leading to an endless cycle. The doctor never admits fault in this situation, making their patient feel as if they are the problem, leading to issues now that didn’t exist before. Taking that many medications over that course of time leads to serious complications. Doctors get away with it all too often - I have witnessed first hand doctors write prescriptions for very addictive medications such as Xanax to people that had no issues. This is a major abuse of the power and trust that they hold - this is part of why I believe for profit institutions hold no place in the future of America’s medical field.

Additionally, our nations children are being diagnosed at young ages with behavioral disorders when in all reality they are just being kids - this traps them in a mental healthcare system designed for profit. If it’s designed for profit, why would they let them leave their care? They don’t - it’s a predatory system and causes our children to be stuck in a perpetual sense of self pity and doubt, leading to questions about identity and holding no confidence. This system is designed for child abuse, plain and simple - most of the time these children with “behavioral” disorders are not listened to and cast off, and the predatory mental health facilities know this and count on it. It’s a crooked system and should be investigated thoroughly - how it was ever allowed to get to this point I will never know, but something can be done about it now for the future.

Children need good parents, healthy parents, drug-free parents, parents who can get a job. I believe a good majority of mentally ill children might have to do with poverty and illegal drug use of parents. I believe there are countries that have free childcare for parents who work maybe we should think of that.

Agree 100% - that is vital! A lot of what I’m sharing comes from personal experience from my childhood/young adulthood, and what you said played a major role in that. The issue that I am discussing is that parents are being manipulated by this system as well, and if they are just as lost as their children, their children will be led down the wrong path - many parents put way too much trust in what a doctor says.
