Paper Ballots, Paper Pollbooks, One Day Voting

We need to get back to basics for elections; Paper Ballots, One Day Voting (24 hour polls open) and the results in one day.
Make election day a federal holiday; essential workers are given a rotating schedule so they can get to the polls in a timely manner.
Hand count each ballot; no machines made in a foreign country that have “proprietary software” that the American citizen cant look at or inspect. No machines with modems quietly built in that require a USB drive update. No connecting to the internet for counting or for confirmation.
Make all results available for full public inspection; no FOIAs or other maze like approvals for release required. We ask for the information we get the information.
We need full transparency of all aspects of the process without any permissions or paperwork that is currently used to sandbag and or hide the results.
Paper Ballots, Paper Pollbooks, Hand Counted, One Day… end the shell games that are our elections today.

Agreed. Keep a public record for minimum 10 years? (Should it be longer? I originally thought 15 years)
