Overtime pay should not count against income limits

With too many Americans floating in that insecure space between not being able to afford food and being able to qualify for public assistance, we shouldn’t punish people who are working longer harder hours trying to provide for their families by counting that extra overtime income against them when it comes to income checks for assistance programs. This is especially important with food assistance programs since overtime hours are not a guaranteed source of income.

Thinking about it more, tipped workers also fall in this category and should be included in this expansion.
