I always thought that if someone had such a passion for a cause as to leave their homes and go out an protest for that cause, then even if I did or didn’t agree with their stance, I could respect them for their determination to bring recognition to their cause.
Once I discovered that several people were being hired and recruited to be protesters for certain causes; my views on protesting and protesters changed.
Paid protesters are creative marketing stunt at best and at worst influential brainwashing.
It’s just another form of lobbying for special interest groups.
Criminalize paid protester/protesting starting with the groups that promote this, ie. Crowds on Demand.
