Protests which destroy public/private property; threaten peace or infringe on other citizen rights, will be illegal and tough fines and sentences imposed

Protests which depart from what the First Amendment outlines as “peaceful” and:

  1. Damage/deface public or private property
  2. Disrupt traffic and access for emergency vehicles
  3. Threaten the safety of those living and working near the protest, and/or the other protesters
  4. Threaten wildlife or natural habitats
  5. Shutdown economic sectors of the US in a way that will disrupt citizens abilities to work, receive necessary services, or significantly effect stock markets etc.
  6. Insight a riot devolving into chaos

Would be considered illegal and would envoke the ability for states to arrest and fine any individuals involved in any part of the above.
This includes the ability to call in The National Guard immediately to shut down the protests with the full force and backing of the government.
Fines would also be handed down from the Federal Government to any state or local government that allows protests to escalate to where any of the above situations would happen.

Yes, Esepecially for number 5! Make it illegal to have protestors block traffic. They go and stop cars in the middle of the road, it’s intrusive and the passerbyer has a place to be , it is not okay to allow this behavior

Many of these points are already covered under current laws, we need to enforce the current laws instead of making new ones. Streamline government by eliminating redundancy. Just look how messed up the tax system is. There are whole sections in libraries for tax laws.

I’m praying that a new policy say… EVERY protest over 500 people will be met with the NATIONAL GUARD. So they know they can still protest…but RESPECTFULLY… no more burning or take overs… ruining property and historical statues…
fighting isn’t worth the losses and pain just to be heard…I just wish I could suggest that to President Elect Trump directly… May God bless him, our military, and our country!!

YES YES YES! But a limit of how big it can be before it is automatic NATIONAL GUARD protection for us all. Keeping peace.

No protest should infringe on the rights of others, especially the right to free passage and/or commerce. Blocking roads, bridges and obstructing people should be a criminal offense and be removed with organizers fined and arrested. Also NO US funds directly or indirectly via NGOs and/or other organizations that receive government funding, should be allowed and any violation must be paid back in triplicate (3x) and future grants withheld for 2 years!
