Paper Ballot and Voter Identification Act

Purpose: To ensure election integrity by requiring paper ballots for all federal, state, and local elections and mandating photo identification for in-person voting.

Section 1: Paper Ballot Requirement

  1. All elections within the United States, including federal, state, and local elections, must use paper ballots.
  2. Paper ballots must be manually verifiable and securely stored for a minimum of 24 months post-election for potential recounts or audits.

Section 2: Voter Identification Requirement

  1. All voters must present a government-issued photo ID at the time of in-person voting.
  2. States shall provide free photo identification to any eligible voter who does not possess one.

Section 3: Implementation and Funding

  1. The federal government will allocate grants to assist states in transitioning to paper ballots and establishing free voter ID issuance programs.
  2. Full compliance by states is required by the next general election cycle following enactment.

And include required annual purging of voter registration rolls!

It used to be required to use paper ballots with little boxes on a sheet to fill in and require ID check. The lines suck, but that can be fixed by increasing the voter stations right? Should bring back “KISS principle and if it wasn’t broke don’t fix it”
