Pain Management, Addiction, & Controlled Substances
Pain: whether it is physical or psychosomatic may be chronic, and if so, is gravely life-altering.
There is a reason we have an opioid crisis. Let’s evolve the discussion beyond “control of narcotics” and realize there is a life-threatening existential AND emotional crisis because our citizens are in pain.
Kratom, CBD, Ketamine, and even Nicotine can be valuable tools for managing pain.

This bill protects access to kratom, openness to research, descheduling kratom as a controlled substance and instead a dietary supplement, protections for future administrative efforts to reschedule or return bans, more education for the proper usage, more effort to enforce proper regulations to ensure the quality and pureness of kratom products in the USA.

Elderly patients, disabled patients and/or senior citizens on Medicaid/Medicare should be released from the monthly visit for refills of pain medications requirement. They’ve probably had a debilitating condition they’ve been dealing with for years, so getting to/from a doctor every 30 days is cumbersome/painful and inconvenient, at best. Besides, any pain med prescription can only be filled every 30 days, so they can’t “abuse it” - if they do, they’d be short, and in pain for the remainder. Al…
The DEA mandates how many doses of controlled drugs manufacturers can produce each year, leading to drug shortages. They have continued to reduce the supply of pain medications, despite shortages every year. Chronic pain patients, including many ill and elderly, and even surgical patients cannot get their prescriptions filled because of the shortages. Why is the DEA telling manufacturers how many pills they can produce? They have no idea how many doses patients will need in a given year, so thei…
Regulation of Nitrous Oxide Dispensers (“Whippets” or “Galaxy Gas”)
Why do we need Regulation?
Nitrous oxide (N2O), commonly known in recreational contexts as “whippets” or more recently “Galaxy Gas,” is increasingly being misused, particularly among younger demographics. Originally used for culinary purposes in whipped cream canisters, these dispensers have found their way into the recreational drug market due to the psychoactive effects of inhaling nitrous oxide. This trend is alarming not o…
We need NULLIFICATION of all laws, statutes, rules, and regulations that were passed based on the false narratives perpetrated by the CDC, namely, that the cause of the overdose death crisis was caused by prescription opioid medications! Congress, state legislatures, and state medical boards did no due diligence to find out if the CDC was telling the TRUTH about proper, appropriate opioid pain relief, and therefore all of the subsequent laws must be REMOVED! This includes the CARA ACT, this i…
