Whenever people ask where I am from, I say Long Island. The people of Long Island are not a part of NYS. Life in upstate New York is not the same as Long Island. They are completely different. The people here want to be liberated from the democrats and NYC holding the island hostage to their will from the sanctuary city, to cashless bail, to soft on crime, only getting $0.70 back for every $1 that we send to Albany for our school districts, gun control mandates, the long waits to get a gun permit here over one year and the list goes on. We are ready to be liberated from the far left rule of Albany.
