I believe we should incentivise legal immigration. Maybe itll be financial aid, or we make it easier to enter legally. Either way I hope this would make democrats happy while ensuring that those who genuinely want a better life get the chance. Itll also make sure immigrants will pay taxes and that criminals dont get grouped with poor desperate families.
There is also a problem with the mexican cartel gouging money to smuggle people into the country, creating a dangerous situation. I agree we should put America first but i genuinely believe a variation of this would take power and money from cartels, make americans happy, and let people who actually deserve it get a chance.
