Incentive to Reduce Prices on Essentials

We have had some of the worst inflation and people keep saying that once prices go up, they never come down. One of the reasons we saw dramatic price increases on groceries is due to the reduced or eliminated oil production in the US. Resume production. Increase production. Sell natural gas and energy to Europe. Then, pass that gain on to producers and grocery outlets through tax cuts, but only if they lower prices for the consumer.
