Ban just as many or more, ingredients that Europe bans to be used in our household and personal care products and ban the FDA allowance for manufacturers to use the word “fragrance” in an ingredient list to hide up to 900 toxins.
Anything we put on our skin gets absorbed into the bloodstream in 26 seconds. These toxins build up in our organs, including the brain, creating something called the toxic burden, with no way out, as they will bypass the gut. These toxins, along with the synthetic fragrances that we breathe in, are causing many problems, including, but not limited to fertility issues and cancer. Cancer is only 10% genetic, but 90% environmental.
I would like to see the chemicals in laundry detergents abolished. It is hard to breathe around people who are immersed in these strong odors. I have actually passed out by just inhaling them in just a few minutes of being in the same room . Wonder what they are doing to the people who are wearing this clothing all day long. Honestly, I am not sure what plain air smells like as there is so much of this and sanitizers sprayed constantly everywhere. Has sanitizer been tested and reported as safe to spray in stores where employees breathe it all day long? Also, plug ins have got to go. That is another toxic product hurting humans and pets both.
I forgot to mention colognes and perfumes. In the past I emailed the store manager at a local department store and asked if they could not spray cologne in the men’s department. I believe that they were spraying it in the air to market it. His reply was that they were in the business of selling products and that they would not discontinue. Many of us have chemical sensitivities (and many more now getting the illness due to constant exposure) .
