The rules for the software that hospitals are forced to use was created by oboma’s administration with help from Epic’s CEO. The rules was written in favor of the Epic software system and the controls the market. Hospitals are forced to spend tens of millions to put these systems into place just to try to comply to regulations that was created to favor Epic. This is forcing all other electronic health record software vendor to not be able to compete and driving up costs. There is not many left. Please revisit these unfair regulations and give software vendors a level playing field.
INTERFACE is a big problem, its expensive and you need to have in order to connect to lab, imaging, hospital. My EHR charges me one dollar for each lab its posts. I have had the same EHR for 10 years- do you think this is fair? Its outrageous.
