Have insurance cover homeopathic doctors!

Health insurance didn’t exist for a very long time. It wasn’t until the mid 1980s that it started becoming part of The package employers would offer their employees. And it worked Just fine. The only expenses doctors had to worry about back, then was their overhead. There was no insurance company telling them how much they had to charge or what medicines they were allowed to prescribe and for what reasons they were allowed to prescribe them. The patient and the doctor would discuss the treatment options and make the decision without the insurance company limiting the options or dictating what had to be done. The doctors decided how long a visit needed to be not the insurance company. If somebody was having problems with their back and the doctors examination determined that that they needed to do procedure D There was no insurance company saying that you first had to do A then B then C Before procedure D Would be authorized. Before insurance it was about the patient.

Most insurances have silver sneaker programs. This is a free gym membership at specific gyms through your insurance carrier. Medicare has this. But sometimes the gyms they work with aren’t in your area or it is hard to find the info in the mountain of insurance information. I called local gyms and asked if they supported such a program and which insurances they worked with. Basically i worked it backwards but it was easier for me this way.

Medicare does not offer the silver sneaker programs only their supplements do.

Agree, and I would like to see that put into place. Unfortunately health insurance orgs view natural and homeopathic treatment methods as “folk medicine” which they disdain since the profits aren’t there for them.

Please vote for this policy which will cover opening the doors to homeopathy:

How about no “health” insurance, only emergency medical coverage. How about people taking care of themselves by eating well, exercising, and learning to deal with stress, bolstering their immune system in the process. Consider what you can save by not involving a third party payer. Then you could afford to visit a homeopathic doctor who is not controlled by big pharma and who is looking out for you.
