Government Assistance Term Limits

Anyone requesting government assistance for food or housing should be required to take financial planning courses, be required to obtain a GED/Diploma, get a skilled trade, etc. This assistance should be available while people proactively learn to be self-sufficient and for a few months after they gain employment and financially stabilize. Government housing should also have designated term limits, unless there is a disability factor. As a former recipient of both types of assistance, I have seen people deliberately stay lazy and comfortable being supported by the government while the truly needy cannot get help.
