I know so many couples who are struggling to create a family. They’ve tried everything they could without breaking the bank to start that family only to hear it was unsuccessful & that TriCare won’t cover anything beyond simple medications.
Unfortunately my husband & I are one of those couples. I did one enlistment in the USN & He is currently active duty. We have been trying for 8 years (with deployments & underway workups interrupting).
I am grateful for what the navy does supply for us, for example, paying for my degree. But however it’s still disheartening to hear that my husband, as well as other military members, sacrifice a lot of time away from home and they aren’t fully covered medically.
Creating a family is a timing issue, and if your spouse is not present during ovulation then you have to wait another month, or 3 or 5 or 9…
I believe IVF can help those who are military and have loved ones who are frequently out to sea or overseas. I strongly hope you consider it. Thank you.
