New bill to pass, for families or single families who struggle to buy groceries, no matter how much you make a year, it shouldn’t be a reason to cut off how much they get. With things being already expensive, the average American family spends at least 270 dollars a week on groceries alone, that doesn’t include other bills like rent, mortgage, gas, electricity, internet and other necessary utilities. I propose a bill that won’t take away the amount of food stamps you get based on your income.
I think we need a bill to limit the length of time you get food stamps. A lot of people have been getting food stamps for way too long and some people don’t want to do any better because of that.
I have no problem people getting food stamps, just limit length of time.
They should have to provide proof that they are actively job searching (if they are not working) just like unemployment.
