All scientific studies should be done with the utmost integrity. Any instance of falsified data, misleading information, or changes done to alter true and correct results should bear consequences such as significant fines and public disclosure of offences. This should apply to government funded and privately funded research that affect government policy, pharmaceuticals, or education.

I understand. The problem is that it takes a lot of time, talent and energy to verify scientific studies. But you are right, the “peer review” process is not working to self-regulate if 50% of studies can’t be duplicated, and government money is corrupting the system.

I understand this is big ask. It also might be too broad in scope. It is a problem however and im hopeful someone with more knowledge than me can implement this in a way that’s doable.
