There should be a federal conceal and carry permit that gives those the right to carry in any state regardless of their laws. It can be as strict or more strict than a permit earned through the state of residence. This keeps the 2nd amendment rights to the people and promotes constitutional protections.

A federal concealed firearm carry permit valid in all 50 states and U.S. territories is needed. The existing confusion when travelling from state to state for law abiding citizens is unacceptable. Also, it often forces citizens who are the most vulnerable such as women, the elderly and others who are the most likely people to be preyed upon by the violent criminal predators who roam free due to no or low cash bail laws to be easily victimized.
