this is what I’ve been working on for years . The system has failed countless children and fathers. This is a huge issue not really talked about. It leads to men having addiction issues and mental health decline. Somthing that needs to be addressed is the money that goes to the courts out of the child support. They are incentivized to hit the father with immense child support knowing they are being compensated and making a profit off of separating the father from their child for as many days a year as possible. This is unconstitutional and wrong. Too many good fathers have lost everything over the system strictly for monetary gain. This has led to a large number of mental health issues and drug addiction. There needs to be a checks and balance. The courts have been taking advantage of good fathers for too long. This is a larger issue than some may think and getting worse.
I agree… Family Law is a billion dollar business at the children’s expense! Title IV D is useless and only hurts the parents as all states have their own laws, so really, it’s not uniform straight across the board as they claim.
The Child Support agencies has turn this program into a money making machine. No one wants to do anything about the broken system. Parental Alienation which supposedly is a crime needs to be enforced. Father’s in particular, have been thru the extreme with the broken system. Losing their jobs, license, not getting modifications when asking for it due to change of circumstances, etc etc… leaving many homeless and or with severe mental health issues while trying to apply logic and sense as to why are men in particular are kept from seeing their kids.
The broken agencies empowered the custodial parent to use their kids as some sort of bargaining chip.
The broken family law, child support agencies are only benefiting themselfs at the expense of not only the children, but also the non custodial parents. Strange enough, we all begin with 50/50 custody and then the greed kicks in and the 1 parent will start with false allegations to remove time share with the kids from the other parent for the sake of more $$$$.
I have experienced this hands on and it’s been almost 20yrs later where everything has come to an end with the system… It was not easy and many times wanted to give up. My immediate family kept me going and focused. Sadly, I have not seen my other 2 boys since they were 5 and 7… They are now 25 and 23 and it doesn’t seem there will ever be a time to repair this… despite of the attempts made throughout the years via the courts. Sad situation!
I can only imagine how many more parents are going thru the same thing without having much help due to the broken system…
If people really cared about the best interest of children, FAMILY LAW AND FAMILY COURTS NEED TO BE REMOVED FROM MAKING DECISIONS WITH FAMILIES. CHILD SUPPORT AGENCIES, need to be held accountable for the amount of misconduct from agencies, the system and the courts.
The children have a right to get to know both parents!
Society nowadays shows what happens to kids without both parents in their lives. Yes, I am aware that not all parents are fit to raise kids, but there is a huge amount good parents of those who are!!
LET’S ALL STAND TOGETHER TO MAKE A POSSITIVE CHANGE FOR THE KIDS BEST INTEREST. 1 FAMILY AT A TIME!
This is a family court problem. There are millions of mothers that are without our children as well. My abuser lied under oath and the judge knew he did and did not care. Both of our children expressed to the judge and the GAL they wanted to be with me and our rights were taken away. ALL PARENTS that alienate their children from the other parent should be held liable and face consequences. My children and I have lost countless memories that could have been made and time that we will never get back. Check out my movement & please vote. Let’s save our children!!
GO VOTE!
Also men who are not biologically the father of a child should not be forced to pay child support for a child that isn’t theirs.

Agreed! It’s come to the point where a paternity test needs to be done regardless of martial status. How devastating it must be for the Husband to later find out the child is not his. Then to be court ordered to be financially responsible while the paternal father gets visitation rights. Personally I am unsure if they also have any financial obligations. This does not change even if there is a divorce. I get that the state doesn’t want to have a financial obligation, but if cruel to force the husband to be financially responsible because he just so happens to make more money.
However, in the event the child was conceived by rape, the rapist was convicted, I feel the father should lose all rights to the child when released from prison.
We need to vote for judges and politicians that support our need to be with our kids.
