Police violate our civil liberties all the time. No one remember them locking up people for keeping their businesses open during covid? Pastors for keeping churches open? The whole “they’re just doing their job” is unacceptable. The nazis “were just doing their job”. There has to be some kind of solution to fixing the way police treat us. I also see them speeding like crazy with no lights on, turning lights on to run red lights and then cutting them back off again, parking where there’s no parking, Letting their friends go when they’ve been drinking and there’s still counties without body cams. Body cams shouldn’t have a button they can mute or cut off when they want either. Who polices the police? “We investigated ourselves and found no wrongdoing”… I understand that we need police but there are too many instances of coverups, going after independent journalists, and blatant disregard for the law. Also whenever you try to make a complaint, they don’t let you file or make it impossible for you to file anonymously.
