I received bad feedback from two users who seem to work together on likes and votes… is it possible that one user can have two accounts and use it to promote themselves and dump on the ideas of others? Thanks

No, I don’t see. that that is the case… Thanks, Just found it strange that two users interacted on another post and both gave negative feedback on mine… with so many users and policies not even looked at , with so few reads how did they both trash my idea and like each others policies?
Here’s mine with a thumbs down and a nah from the other …Increase number of public/privately held fitness/exercise/sports centers including indoor swim facilities in all income level areas to serve all ages

I understand your question, yes. We have systems in place that alert us to suspected duplicate or “sockpuppet” accounts. But those systems can only do so much.

I wasn’t sure if it was duplicate accounts or something else/ a coordinated effort trying to discourage users and short circuit the use of this website… So I guess you’ll at least know if you see the pattern repeating or other users reporting same observation… was shadow banned on twitter for no given or apparent reason, dealing w hateful vax salesman brother/family… was just hoping for a better place

We all share your frustration The best defense we have against that sort of negativity is to continue to work towards making a community here that is notably different and known for the quality and depth of dialogue.

I believe that if we refrain from engaging with inflammatory comments and instead focus on getting “into the weeds” around policy proposals, we will bore those users that are just looking for a fight.

We will do our best to be vigilant regarding abuses to how the site was intended to function. A big part of that will be community driven. If the problem persists with these users or anyone else, definitely reach out.

My question about how to merge posts is separate from what I’m asking today…
Today I’m asking about a pattern I see where two users both gave negative/meh comments on my policy and work together on another… just wondering what’s going on… if same user with two accounts or if working together for some reason… just looks odd since my post has so few reads… Please tell me if. you still don’t understand… Thank you
I sent you the two policies that show both mine (where you can see the thumbs down from “MKSJ” and pretty much a nah from “Roamer”) and I sent you the post where they are both on same policy … I’ll send them both again…

I live in a city that has very poor health, a lot of diabetes, obesity, etc probably like many places in America. There are very few exercise facilities /gyms/ Ymca's, paid or city sponsored .. The more expensive gyms ($100 per person per month) though the amenities are great, they are very crowded, parking difficult to find, etc. We need more sports facilities/ pools/ gyms to significantly improve the health and happiness of people of all classes and all ages in smaller towns, bigger tow…
