Got some reason, I thought RFK Jr. was involved with the creation and/or operation of this site.

I matter and you matter. Can you remember a time when politicians won and then afterwards asked the people what they want? If nothing comes of it then maybe we will have lost some time, but if they ask and we provide no feedback then who’s to blame when our interests are not considered? Thanks for participating.
I am so sorry! I didn’t mean we weren’t important. I hope you know now what I intended.
You meant people with power to do something about all this, I believe. I almost made a similar comment as above, just in discussion, but I think it was clear what you meant, don’t worry
We the People are the power holders. We just have to realize it.
I believe Eric is one of the creators. His name sounded familiar so I was concerned. Whoever created this site is amazing and knew what they were doing. If we can promote it wherever we go, we should! We ARE the people!
Thanks again Eric. I see now your name wasn’t on the list of creators but I was still mortified when I realized how others might take my comment. I try to make peace online. It sounds like you do too.
How do we get more votes once we limit out?
Same question! Is it that we go back and refine/change our votes to the ones we care about most? I wonder.
I’m not sure how to get more votes - actually, I’m still trying to find policies to use my votes for as I still have many left.
I am perhaps more deeply aware of how dire our situation is than some of you, but I am not one of the site creators and am not any more special than you are. I am convinced though, that our participation in this feedback excercise will play a pivotal role in things to come, so I am trying to get as many people as possible to participate.
If you have any policies that are really important to you but don’t have any votes left then let me know and I will consider voting on it.
The site has been advertised as he had the site made
Yes, I advertise and promote the site. I tell everyone I know to go to it. Does that mean I have any affiliation with it’s creators? I wish I did but I really don’t - I’m just a random American like you. Perhaps I am a brain-washed Trump fan-boy and time will prove me to be a fool - but our situation is so dire that I don’t care. If there is any hope at all that this administration will save our country then I’m willing to risk my time and reputation. I am as active here as my free time will allow and my views and opinions are probably at least somewhat different than yours. If any of my not-so-popular ideas gain traction then all of my volunteer work here will have been worth it. For example, I hate cell phones and their infrastructure and would love to completely ban them along with WIFI. Are you on-board with that? If so then great - do nothing. Squeaky wheel gets the grease! I’m getting good at getting loud. How about you? And if you think all of this is just a waste of time then who knows - maybe you will be proven right - maybe not - we will see.
Yes Eric. You’re doing the right thing and I hope I can also. I don’t come in to the site as often as I’d like to. I’ve shared it on FB, Twitter and Gab. People will have to talk face to face again one day. Yes, I know now that people who matter DO visit the site. That includes you. Is there a way to find the items that have gotten the most votes? There are just so many to read and some are a bit out there. I hope you have a happy New Year Eric. Ttyl.
I’m not sure about finding the most votes - most of my votes and comments are not-so-popular actually. I use the search/advanced search to find detailed proposals related to topics that I care about and I don’t really care how many votes they have. For popular proposals you might try “top” policies but I don’t see how to sort by votes. Some policies that I have voted for are:
- Ban Property Taxes Nationwide
- Large land grab Western North Carolina
- Decriminalization of Psychedelics
- Withdraw from NATO
- Teach the hidden history that the Smithsonian deliberately took away from us
- Limit AI, robots, drones in policing Humans
- Stop the torture of targeted individuals
- End the war in Ukraine in two steps
- Vaccines for newborns, babies and kids need to cease immediately
- Repeal Citizens United
- Continuous-Flow Traffic Systems
- Ban EMF Radiation: A Policy for Reducing EMF Emissions and Advancing Innovative Technologies
- Repeal the PATRIOT ACT
- Constitutional Ammendment: English as Exclusive Official Language
- Deactivate and dismantled biolabs in ukraine
- Hold Covid Conspirators Accountable
- Ban LED lights (or at least give people a choice)
- Stop directed energy warfare on citizens
Sorry I can’t be of more help. For me I just search for topics that I learned about from experience or from watching “fake news” and then vote or comment where I feel compelled to do so. As for getting more votes it looks like I did actually get some more and it seems based on activity - after I made enough likes or made enough posts or liked enough posts then at some point I was actually awarded more votes. There are indeed many posts and unfortunately many duplicates so I try hard to find an existing one before making my own.
The more we participate the more we matter.
Happy New Year!
I agree with everything I have read so far that you have posted. If there was a follow button you would be the first I’d follow. When Trump said: “return the power to the people” I believe this site is a small part in doing that. It gives us a collaborative voice. It allows for a somewhat organized connection of people and their views that wouldn’t be connecting in real life due to proximity.
This platform needs to be more widely distributed when you see the number of views it appears there are not a lot of participants that needs to change to be effective.
That really depends on who looks at it. But yes, share whenever and wherever we can and go back and look at your votes. If a similar idea has more votes than yours or one you’ve voted for, remove your vote and put it on that one. This will bring those ideas to the top of the list faster.
Thank you for info was unaware I could change my vote.
Dealing with duplicate proposals raises interesting concerns. I agree that being able to retract votes to select the best proposal amongst duplicates is helpful. For me though, I’ll stick to voting for the best written proposal over the one with the most votes.
I think that creating a merge proposal, at least theoretically, seems like a better option but I don’t yet have practical experience doing this so can’t share how good it actually works. For example, if a policy has 5 duplicates and if I vote for them all and then if they all get merged together, then do all 5 of my votes then get counted? In my opinion this case should be handled such that 4 votes get refunded as part of the merge. Maybe I’ll have to play with that feature a bit to figure it out.
While I think that voting is an important aspect of this site, the knowledge transfer going on from all the conversations might actually be more impactful than the vote counts to those deciding how to procede with what. That is why I always vote on merit instead of consensus and try to leave some comments where I can. The vote counts are important but they are not everything.
