Pass a law to make business/restaurants have to donate to local shelters. So much waste! Companies will destroy items because they can’t make a profit off of it! It’s sad to see perfectly good food still in the wrapper in the trash. It’s sad to see clothes torn in dumpsters because they did not get bought. It’s sad to see items cut or broken because they didn’t get bought. These things can be put to good use. It’s better to be used by someone that needs it compared to going to waste because it did not bring in money.
