It’s ridiculous that my wife and I have already spent over $13,000 for her health before the deductible / out of pocket costs were met and she has to have another surgery which was postponed to AFTER everything under her policy will reset which means we will be out another $13,000 before our insurance fully kicks in.
If we didn’t have to accept employer provided insurance and could afford to shop around because of an abundance of competition, we wouldn’t be swamped with medical debt.
