Constitutional Amendment Prohibiting Wealth Redistribution

In the United States, we currently have many types of programs where the people’s wealth is being collected and then redistributed. These programs include bailouts, subsidies, grants, welfare, disaster relief, military aid, etc. Although at face value each of these programs has worth and noble purpose, government officials should not be spending OTHER PEOPLE’S MONEY on them. If individual public servants, businesses, charities, or individual citizens want to contribute to some cause, they are welcome to do so with their own money—not the government with taxpayer money.

The money the government has at its disposal is the money of the people irrespective of its source (tariffs, taxes, fines, etc.).
