Constitution on Cash: Our Rights, Our Money!”

Proposal for Redesigning U.S. Dollar Bills

Objective: To redesign the U.S. dollar bills to incorporate the text of the U.S. Constitution and its Amendments, promoting awareness and appreciation of the nation’s foundational legal document, make our currency collectible, and promote our Republic overseas especially when a child gets an American dollar.

Overview: This proposal outlines a three-year cycling plan to redesign the front and back of U.S. paper currency, integrating the text of the U.S. Constitution and its Amendments. The goal is to educate the public and celebrate the principles of American democracy.

Year 1: Amendments on Currency

$1 Bill:

Front: First Amendment

Back: Second Amendment

$5 Bill:

Front: Third Amendment

Back: Fourth Amendment

$10 Bill:

Front: Fifth Amendment

Back: Sixth Amendment

$20 Bill:

Front: Seventh Amendment

Back: Eighth Amendment

$50 Bill:

Front: Ninth Amendment

Back: Tenth Amendment

$100 Bill:

Front: Preamble to the Constitution

Back: Beginning of the Constitution

Year 2: Constitution on Currency

Each denomination will feature different sections of the Constitution, ensuring that the entire document is represented across the various bills. This will include the Articles and clauses, divided appropriately among the denominations with the original wording.

Year 3: Remaining Amendments on Currency

The remaining Amendments (11 through 27) will be printed on the currency, continuing the theme of promoting constitutional knowledge. The cycle should repeat itself every 3 years for the next 12 years

Design Considerations:

Aesthetic Integration:

The text of the Amendments and Constitution will be artistically integrated into the design, ensuring readability while maintaining the visual appeal of the currency.

Security Features:

All current security features will be retained and enhanced to prevent counterfeiting.

Public Education Campaign:

A nationwide campaign will be launched to educate the public about the new designs and the historical significance of the texts featured on the currency.

Benefits:

Educational Value: Increases public awareness and understanding of the U.S. Constitution and its Amendments.

Patriotic Appeal: Reinforces national pride and the importance of American democratic principles.

Historical Significance: Celebrates the historical documents that have shaped the nation.

Conclusion:

This redesign of U.S. paper currency will not only enhance the aesthetic value of the bills but also serve as a daily reminder of the rights and freedoms enshrined in the Constitution. By implementing this proposal, we can foster a deeper appreciation for the nation’s legal foundations among all citizens.
Children understand what money is, they will ask their parents to read it to them. When they’re old enough to read it for themselves they’ll ask what it means.
Remember when you were a child and you got a piece of foreign money you looked at it a lot even if it was just a Canadian quarter or a looney, now we can have children and teenagers from other countries reading our Constitution our Bill of Rights setting an idea in place at a very early age that will stay with them and that will actually spread a constitutional republic which is always better than a democracy.
