After watching the train wreck of getting cabinet members confirmed. Questions being asked and the candidate is unable to answer them without being cut off, the bias and mockery of the entire thing is a joke. Quite frankly if the candidate meets the requirements of the job (in experience) there shouldn’t even be a debate. It should go straight to the people to vote on.
How it could work:
The president should have to announce all picks for cabinet to the public before the election. Then if elected the people vote on the up to 3 options for each position during the president elect period and have an official paper vote a week before inauguration and they can all be sworn in together.
This stems from the fact that some of us voted for Trump so that the people he selected and announced before hand would be put in charge, but now we are fighting our own government to get them confirmed. Because its crazy that some of the people we wanted in charge are being publically humiliated and mocked on misinformation (dems favorite word) and blocked by our own government just because they threaten to expose their own corruption.
