Community Centers to Learn and Feed the community

My idea is my passion and all I’ve ever want to do. I think every city or within a certain radius should have a fully government funded community center. This community center would have teachers just like schools. There would be gardens and areas to hang out and read. There would be access to completely free classes. Things like canning your own food, wood making, how to make a garden, how to make natural medicines using plants, yoga classes, meditation etc. everything from the garden would be a food pantry for the people in need in the neighborhood. Regular people like doctors psychiatrist could donate their time. There would be a regular staff running the place however a lot of people in the community could donate their time for like wood working, how to forage, how to process an animal, how to fish. They could also raise money by housing all the local artists art work. It’s basically like a bar but a place where everyone the community could pitch in and go there. Kids could hang out there if they have a single parent that is never home. Basically bringing back the village mentality, as a society we are so far from our natural way of being. We all need each other and learning these tools is beneficial for not only the person but the entire community. If we can all join In to help a few kids no go hungry at night. Also developing the minds of our young people since they are our future, so many are depressed and are zombie like and i believe none of them have a place to go, or somewhere they can develop their minds. We have to realize that kids don’t listen to their parents, and back in the day we had multiple adults raising these kids so they would take away so many more things just being exposed to different types of people. Some with more skills or a different way of seeing things. The exposure is vital to their development and even as adults. . If we could just get community back into the equation I think we could turn around where mankind is going. :pray:t2:
