I absolutely agree with this. This is our food supply. I would like to see this extended to a total ban of ANY adversarial country owning any food or drug company in the US. Example the now Chinese owned Smithfield Foods.
100%!! Chinese or ANY foreign corroboration should NOT own land here. If they do, there should be a limit on the amount they’re allowed to own.

I would say non citizens should not own land, but they buy it by proxy. If found to be linked to another country, it should be seized and resold. Nobody should own enough land to alter national security or policies.
I would go a step farther and not allow billionaires from buying farm land along with mega corporations along with selling farm lands back to small farmers.

Expand it. Other countries should not be able to form agreements with local governments to syphon water and move it overseas… Maybe all foreign land investments regarding more than X number of acres and removing X quantity of resources from the land need to be voted on by the constituents of that state.
This should definitely include federal land and national parks. And not just china. Any foreign entity.

I definitely agree and the property should be returned back to the USA. Just like Sara Sanders did.
And giving China are only deep sea water port was Stupid. With everything that went with it. Are military Guards it. Americans cannot step on that property at all. It was a very stupid mistake.
Stop selling our top Soil as well.
Protect our farmers from investors destroying crops. Likewise protect the farmers from greedy land grabbers. Are farm land is depleting. Protect our farmers. You guys are l loved.
I believe land ownership of citizens is a right. Taxes remove that right of happiness and secuirty. Only US citizens should have the right to own real property or the buildings on top of such land. The Federal government holds way too much real property already. Yes, for specific purpose ie National Parks, Service exercise areas, etc. All the other land should be homesteaded, like back in the 1800s, to perment residents or citizens. If after 10 years the resident becomes a citizen, and they have lived on, improved and worked the property for those 10 years, they are guaranteed ownership. No taxes of any kind on the property during those 10 years. The owner, now a US Citizen, then must continue to live in and own the property, or pass it down to legal partners, spouses or children for another 10 years. Numbers are flexible. It is for them to establish a legacy for their family. Selling the free land after 10 years defeats the whole purpose. The property that is returned by default, can be then given out again to a new US resident or Citizen. To recieve such property, you can not own any real property, anywhere. You would be able to apply and sell your current land, to receive the new land, which again, would help establish wealth. just a further idea. I do remember Mexico reperating property back when I was young, so other close countries have done it. Vancouver has a large extra tax for non-residence owners.

Absolutely! Instead we should be building freedom cities to ensure generations of americans citizens are land owners and homeowners.

Ban china owned land, and the land that they own now, SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED TO SEE EXACTLY WHAT THEY CURRENTLY HAVE ON THOSE LANDS AND UNDER THOSE LANDS…WHAT EXACTLY DID THEY BUY IT FOR?
Yes, please take away foreigners purchasing of US Land, and American billionaires buying thousands of acres (Bill Gates…for what?).
