The Bully Ban would ensure that children, parents and or guardians would be held accountable for the child’s actions.
Once in place children would go on a list at school for their actions or behaviors. Once it’s gone through the proper channels at the school, principals/superintendent the next step would be a visit from the police, warning parents that they are at risk for charges being filed or possible jail time.
At this point it’s documented and it’s on paper. If the bully continues charges can be filled, then it’s reviewed in front of a judge and depending on the severity the child can receive as little as community service on their first offense, to juvenile detention on a more serious case and the parent can be charged with child endangerment, child abuse or child neglect for not parenting their children like they should and allowing another child to come to harm at their own hands! Things like counseling, and therapy could be provided to all children and parents involved.
Something has to be done.
If there is going to be a law to mandate insurance companies to allow parents to go through IVF shouldn’t we go on the flip side and protect said children?
The school system has to change, we need a law to protect these children from online and in school bullying! Children know there are zero consequences for their actions so they are not afraid to bully a child to commit suicide then continue to brag and bully the child and their parent even after they’ve committed.
I think this could be a successful solution to the issues at hand and even help prevent school shootings.
