Better plan then Medicare

I have fought against Medicare care platform when my mother was on it. I was in college at the time. They pay for tests not necessary but deny others needed. This is where the doctor patient centered care should be in the forefront. The government should should not be calling the shots. Most often those who decide what care you get may not even haveva college degree let alone a medical license at Medicare. So how do they know what is best for the patient. As a Speevh & Language Pathologist I witnessed fraud in the system. They approve tests llike colooscopy, mammograms but deny an MRI for a fractured shoulder on a patient 60 yrs or older. To determine if their is torn muscles or nerve damage. Which can not be seen on an x- ray. Which would change the way treatment will occur. They approve the other tests with no symptoms or family history of that disease. But require doctors fill out reams of paperwork to get an MRI that is needed to diagnose the treatement needed. What a waste of money to order tests with no symptoms but deny those necessary to make disgnosis & treat proper. I know President Trump asked for fraud to be reported after he took office Feb 2017. I replied with my information from work. He was investigating the fraud and found huge waste of money. I hope this is opened up again so we can improve our care. We should have opportuinty to by our own healthcare at any age. Medicare controls the consumer with extra fees, and fines if you don’t sign up for part D. We can purchase our meds a lot cheaper without part D. Preminums keeps going up and part D co- pays & deductibles are unsustainable for the average citizen.
