We shouldn’t allow big corporations to buy out our politicians. This country was founded by the people for the people.
We should make it illegal for any one corporation to give donation money to a politician. We all know isreal, blackrock, vangaurd, Pfizer, moderna, and monsanto have given thousands and millions of dollars to sway the legislative system in their favor. All the while harming everyday Americans.
I propose that we monitor all governement officals bank accounts and monetary activity while they are in office, after they leave office and we will back track to before they entered office to ensure there are not any discrepancies.
Related thoughts. Do not allow watchdog agency employees to work in the same companies they supposedly “watch” for a significant period of time after leaving the government. Also, do not allow their family members to work for those companies either, eliminating that conflict of interest.
I agree but if we want to keep legislation as one bill one topic that would be an entirely seperate bill to propose. Our goal should be to make each law as simple and transparent as possible without ambiguity. We could propose legislation that states any government official who enters the private sector will undergo investigation to see if they may have collaborated with said private company to pass legislation that would benefit the profits of said company. The punishment would be death for treason against the American people, held before a judge and a jury of 12.
Before this can happen corporations need advocates.
Are there any protections to prevent politicians—who raised inflation and forced minimum wage—from falsely accusing retailers of “price gouging”?
