It is scary as a parent to send our kids to school. They are supposed to be safe and protected at schools. We protect our leaders, government buildings, and currency with armed guards, but our children get a
(gun free zone) sign. Criminals don’t follow the law, and every time something happens people just blame guns. There should be multiple armed guards at schools. We could accomplish this in a few different ways. Either training and arming at least one school official per wing of the school, add private security for each wing, or assign more officers to be able to have one off for every so many classrooms. Our children are the future of this country! We should start protecting our future! I think this would probably be a good deterrent to tragedies. And at least make it easier to stop the attack faster and save lives if one were to happen.
