Children are the Future. We need to protect our Children and I propose that all schools have arm security. School shootings Are way too common nowadays, and every time one occurs people immediately want to ban Firearms. The problem isn’t with firearms, It’s Lack of responsibility and accountability. Children have the most fragile minds and anything from bullies at school to problems at home can cause tremendous trauma that result in poor choices. Obviously minors should not be able to get a hold of firearms, But if they do, We need to have a system that helps intercept those firearms. Each school building needs to have arm security, Metal detectors, And someone supervising all entrances. Immediate bag checks for any student who is late or who has left property. The thought that anyone can walk into a school unnoticed until they check in at the administration Office is absurd. If there was someone at the door to check IDs on all individuals entering the building, that would also cut down on parents who do not have custody of their Children from checking out their Child without the other Guardian knowing. Also requiring students to have an ID badge No matter how small the school is would prevent unauthorized persons from entering schools. For example, the two individuals who posted online laughing about how they were able to Just walk in and pretend to be a Student.
