Any legislation regarding abortion shall be exclusively crafted and voted upon by female legislators and female citizens at all levels of government.
This takes away the argument that abortion laws are engineered by men to control women.
Pregnancy is arguably a life threatening condition that males never have to experience.
Men should be glad to have this difficult concept taken off their shoulders. Let women decide these laws, and we will be far more accepting of the outcomes.
Of course keep abortion policies at the state level, never federal, like all laws should be.
Do not let this become a slippery slope for other issues to be separated by genders, or you will have a bureaucratic nightmare on your hands. The obvious difference of this particular issue should make it the only issue we do this with. (And don’t say the military draft, because I think we should require a minimum of 2 years in the military after high school for all citizens and anyone applying to be a citizen, but that’s a separate issue.)
