owner’s insurance doesn’t recognize it. Health insurance doesn’t recognize it. It takes YEARS to recover from it. It affects our bodies’ neurological, respiratory, immune, mental/cognitive, and nervous symptoms. Some mycotoxins even produce TVOCs which can cause organ failure. Traditional medicine doesn’t know how to treat this and it’s affecting people more than they know. The only way to receive treatment is to find a functional doctor and pay thousands and thousands.

I totally agree! I’m a mold survivor! It took awhile to uncover what was making me sick. Of course all conventional doctors could do for me was write out a prescription for each symptom. My functional medicine doctor was my saving grace! She was able to help me with my sickness and also knowledgeable about how to clean and fix my house properly from the mold exposure. Turns out, when our house was built, the plumbers failed to seal off a couple vent pipes. It was an expensive ordeal and lots $$$ spent on supplements to get me well again. None of which was covered, of course, by our medical insurance. Something needs to change! There are numerous people whom are sick and have no idea it could be there home environment making them sick. The conventional doctors aren’t trained to ask those kinds of questions.
