Abolish ban against importing FDA-approved drugs for personal use

Big Pharma has lobbied the government to forbid importing drugs that are already FDA-approved.

This means that a drug that has already been approved for use in the U.S. can also be prohibited in the U.S., depending on the drug’s country of origin.

This also means that an American can pay 10x the cost of a drug as someone in Canada, the UK, or the EU.

Given that many Western countries have health standards that equal or surpass the standards of the U.S., allow Americans to use drugs that have already met the FDA’s own standards of approval.

Just had my Ivermectin order from India confiscated by the FDA “for my protection”. They can let illegal drugs pour in but confiscate a safe and effective drug that needs no prescription in most countries and surely don’t need one here. The FDA is controlled by the drug lobby.
