No American should ever be homeless—ever. This policy focuses solely on helping those already homeless or at immediate risk of homelessness due to job loss or other crises. We will prioritize:
(1) Immediate, “temporary” housing for anyone without shelter.
(2) Rapid job placement and skill training for those who need work.
(3) Accessible mental health and addiction services for those who need care.
(4) Development of bare-bones mini homes with communal facilities like washers, dryers, and kitchens to provide long-term, cost-effective shelter solutions that people could move into once jobs are obtained.
We have the resources.
We have the manpower.
We have the willpower.
It’s time to end homelessness, permanently.
