Veterans and Domestic Welfare First Act
Objective: To prioritize U.S. veterans and citizens over foreign aid, ensuring that taxpayer dollars are used to improve the lives of Americans before being sent overseas.
Policy Proposal:
· Enact a Veteran Care Priority Mandate, requiring that a certain percentage of the federal budget be allocated to veterans’ healthcare, housing, and job training before any foreign aid can be distributed.
· Create a Domestic Crisis Response Fund, which would be used to address natural disasters, homelessness, and mental health issues within the U.S. The use of this fund must take priority over sending resources to foreign countries for non-emergency situations.
· Establish a U.S. Infrastructure First Initiative, which would require that a portion of the defense budget be redirected to rebuild American roads, bridges, and public services before funding foreign military operations or aid.
· Limit U.S. involvement in foreign wars and military engagements unless there is a direct threat to national security. Any such engagement must be approved by Congress with a clear exit strategy and budgetary limits.
· Offer tax incentives to businesses that hire veterans or invest in underserved American communities, ensuring that private enterprise also contributes to improving the domestic economy.
These policies, if adopted, could help restore America’s focus on individual freedoms, accountability, and prioritizing its own people and infrastructure. They also aim to address the challenges posed by corruption, government overreach, and the manipulation of technologies, while ensuring that the interests of the American people come first.
