The Supreme Court’s 2022 decision in New York Rifle and Pistol Association v. Bruen made it unconstitutional for states to require applicants to show “proper cause” to carry a concealed firearm. This decision required states to allow concealed carry with or without a permit.
As law-abiding citizens, we shouldn’t have the individual states to dictate our given right to carry. Especially in California with rising crime rates and liberal laws. Criminals are getting more brazen with stolen weapons due to lax laws and usually ends up back on the street committing even more heinous crimes.
Why do we have to carry the burden of submitting endless paperwork and ass kissing the local sheriff in order to get a permit? Why aren’t we able to protect ourselves when a call to 911 usually ends up without anyone showing up until 2+ hours later?
