Hello:
Two-tiered inflation system. Those whose financial gains are a certain amount (ex: $100k or more) would pay the inflation prices. Anyone who’s below a certain amount purchased based on the regular price (non-inflation). These would be essential items food and the like.
Based on information (SSN or cell # or some other identification), when purchases initiate, the systems or other functionality could tell which price the consumer pays.
Those struggling or have less income would not be crippled for rising inflation. Those with more money, though would face the higher prices, would have less of an impact - possibly - on the financial outlook of their lives.

What you need is a responsible Congress. Short of that, you need a Congress that acts responsible. To get that, you need a Congress with negative feedback for bad things like overspending.
One way that wouldn’t totally work, and is still overkill: Members that vote for spending without revenue should have their own possessions seized and auctioned off to help with the deficit.
Hello:
It’s not what I need, it’s what the county needs. Though the two-tiered inflation system was not meant to pamper bad policies or bad spending - but a way to help those less fortunate or in lower financials to not feel the hardships more if/when inflation kicks in.
Democrats abuse their powers, in regard to spending, and that has exacerbated inflation at times.
