Transparency on military bases on chemical or environmental exposure

I developed breast cancer and to find out several others from my squadron that we know of di developed cancer within a span of 10 to 15 years. Most being within 3 years. Nothing was ever done or investigated. To find out DOD sent letters to local farmers adjacent to the base that their crops might be contaminated with forever chemicals. Nothing was ever mentioned. Cancer is very high among military members as well as ALS, MS, Parkinson and few other major illnesses than our civilian counter part.
