Tired of our rights being taxed

Sir, Any one item a person owns can be taxed countless times. It is taxed new. It is taxed from a second hand store. It is taxed every time it is sold. This is ridiculous. Our homes are never truly our homes. There is the constant tax on our homes and if we do not pay that tax the government comes in and takes our home. We are never truly the owner but a renter to the government. I knew of a young couple who was finally building their dream home then they realized they could not pay the ongoing taxes on that home. Every dime received is taxed. If it is not taxed at that time then it is ‘taxed’ in income tax. This also include social security and retirement which, often, was taxed at the time earned. If our social security is OUR MONEY we should have a right to bill or tax the government every time they dip into the social security fund. We should not have to keep paying taxes. I have a strong belief against abortion so why should I have to pay taxes that the government is going to use to support abortion? Why should I have to pay taxes into a fund that the government is going to use to simply laundry money into their pocket via a foreign government such as we have been seeing doing through Ukraine? It is one thing to support our country. It is another when our taxes are being used to study if shrimp run and the mating rituals of a fly. We are taxed on everything and often repeatedly only under a different name. We are tired of supporting a government that does not care about real people. Thank you, sir…Dr. Robert D. Baize
